All Girls Ride Day with MBAC and The Wavehouse!

Earlier this week we participated in a girls ride day down in Mission Beach in San Diego, CA. LF Team riders Melissa Marquardt, Shelby Kantar, Stef Tor were on hand to demo, coach and hang out with the 17 girls that came out for a day of fun. We started the day at bright and early at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center, which runs wakeboarding classes and camps year round on the bay. Melissa and Shelby both rode first, providing some excellent motivation for the rest of the girls to shred. After all the girls rode we grubbed on some delicious burritos c/o Wahoo’s Fish Tacos – thanks to our friend Tal at Sector 9. After we re-energized with some Monster energy drinks, we headed down to Wavehouse, which is just a couple blocks away right on the beach. After the session, we gave away tons of prizes, including Osiris Shoes, Neff Beanies, Dragon sunglasses, Skullcandy headphones, Body Glove life jackets and last but not least a brand new Liquid Force wakeboard. Wakeboarding, wakeskating, waveriding and tons of awesome gear all in one day… doesn’t get much better than this!
