The Collection Art Show featuring Mikey Ennen
November is the middle of the off season for most of your favourite wake pros out there. Most wakeboarders are chilling at their homes in Florida, maybe taking the odd trip, attending photo shoots or working on a new banger trick for their video part
Mikey Ennen isn’t your typical wakeboarder mainly because he’s been able to make a living as a pro without moving to Florida full time. So instead of wakeboarding year round practicing his Whirly-Doodles or Trillion Dollar Trifectas, or whatever the latest trick-du-jour might be, he spends his off season at home in Bellingham, Washington either shredding some fresh powder at Mt Baker or working on his latest art piece. You’ve probably seen some of Mike’s artwork on few different boards in the Liquid Force line over the past couple of years.
This past weekend Mike’s art was featured in The Collection Art Show at the Market Depot Building in downtown Bellingham. On display were a number of Mike’s prints and drawings as well as a few Liquid Force wakeboards. Also featured was the work of famed wake photographer Joey Meddock who had several prints on display. The entire show was presented by Scion who had several cars on display, including a wrapped model that all of the artists in attendance got to customize.
