Today, Liquid Force has announced that Nico von Lerchenfeld, a 17 year old German wake and snowboard talent, has been signed to it’s International Team. Nico will be riding Liquid Force wakeboards and bindings.

In Europe, Nico is well known for his innovative style on rails and obstacles. If you’ve seen Nico ride, you’ll know that he’s one of the best and most stylish rail riders in wakeboarding period. German Team Manager Benni Suess stated “Nico has been a part of the German LF Family since the beginning. We´ve seen him grow up from a kid playing on any board out there, to a young and upcoming rider who can beat everybody when it comes to rail riding. We’re really proud that he’s taken his riding to that next level and will be heading to the US more to play a bigger role for the Liquid Force team.”

KC Watersports cable wake park is set for the biggest year ever. More events, more fun!

On April 16th KC Watersports Wake Park will kick off the 2010 season with the 6th annual Fool’s Fest event. The weekend event features lots of cable riding, socializing, and a competition on Saturday afternoon. The Fool’s Fest weekend pass is only $50 and includes riding Friday – Sunday and entry in the competition. It’s time to see your friends from throughout the Midwest and shred some water.

The events continue on May 22nd when KC Watersports and Liquid Force host the Relentless Weekend. The Relentless Weekend has become the biggest wakeboarding event in the Midwest. Don’t miss this chance hang out with LF team riders and improve your skills. From beginners to experts, everyone has a blast at the Relentless Weekend.

June events include the Liquid Force Free For All and KCW’s weekly tournament series, “It’s On”. The Free For All is your chance to ride the cable for free and demo all of the new Liquid Force gear. You will be able to compete locally to win the chance to compete in the national championship later in the season. KCW is proud to host the second stop of the Monster Energy WWA Wake Park Triple Crown Series presented by Alliance Wakeboard Magazine on July 31st.
