Orlando, Fla. — Think you have what it takes to manage a winning pro wakeboard team? If so, sign up for the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour fantasy game, powered by Fantasy Action Sports League, to create and manage your own online fantasy wakeboard team, and you could win some serious cash and prizes at the end of the season.

Similar to other online fantasy sport games, the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour fantasy game, powered by Fantasy Action Sports League, allows participants to earn fantasy points for their team by using statistics from real pro riders as they compete on the actual 2010 Pro Tour. Team managers are supplied with a salary cap, in which they can sign as many as 10 pro riders to their team. The team with the most fantasy points at the end of the season wins.

A champion is exactly what Obscura wakeskates is looking for this weekend, May 7-8th, during the inaugural Obscura Championships presented by Monster Energy drinks. The event is taking place alongside the annual Cablestock event at The Texas Ski Ranch and is sure to breed the type of riding that can only be described as championship quality. TSR has given the fellas free reign over the properties back ponds, giving them ample room to create a winch pulled event unique from any other. Taking full advantage of the size of the back ponds, team Obscura has constructed not only a seven stair pool gap with down ledges, but also flat ledges in the landing area and an expansive section of water for flat water maneuvers. The combination of all these obstacles has allowed for a new format to be implemented. Riders will not be judged on a “best trick” format as in all previous events but in a “best line format” to see which rider can utilize all the different obstacles. The unique format, as well as large cash purse supplied by Monster energy drinks, has the industries top riders making their way to the Lone Star State. Confirmed riders include:

Registration is still open with a limited amount of spots. If you are an unconfirmed rider be sure to be at the Texas Ski Ranch before 9:00am on Friday. Friday will be qualifying from 10am to 3pm and will be run in a five heat format with the top two riders of each heat moving on to the finals on Saturday from 3pm until 6pm with a champion crowned at the end of the day. Be sure to come out and witness wakeskate progression and watch the world’s best battle for the elite feeling of being crowned a “Champion”.
