Kevin Henshaw Wins Wake Wars at The B.O.B.!!

Wake Wars at The B.O.B . was a success again! The B.O.B. is already thinking about next year and I plan to try and lock down a date yet this fall. Last year we had an amazing crowd despite the cold weather and this year was no different with temperatures around 90 degrees both days! A local pool company was able to again bring in a 30 ft round swimming pool which kept the visitors cooled off throughout both days of hot weather.

The layout was changed slightly allowing the vendors more space for the visitors to walk through which seemed to work better than last year where the crowds just filled into the tents to watch the wakeboarding competition.

There is talk of trying to return in July for 2011 as a possible last Wake Wars before new construction begins on the parking lot area next fall.

Wake Wars came to an end with Kevin Henshaw on top with $2,000. Nate Perry in second with $800. Derek Grasman took third with $400.
