PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
How do waves work? What design elements go into shaping a surfboard? How does air pressure affect your mountainboard ride? What are the mechanics behind an ideal jump shot? Join us and find out! It’s a full day of excitement with sports displays including a wave machine, skateboard ramp, interactive surfboard shaping, baseball hitting machines and much more. Interact with certain exhibits, talk to athletes and learn from the entrepreneurs, scientists and engineers.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Schools, families and children of all ages excited to go behind the scenes and learn about the science, mathematics and engineering that make the sports we all love work.
