What was one of the best moments on your wakeboard?

Landing my first ever Pete Rose 7.  I had only been on LF for a little over a year at that point.  That trick I felt really opened up the doors as far as what not only I could do on a wakeboard, but I felt as if it opened the industry to what the future of park wakeboarding could be.  I don’t believe anyone had done a Mobe 7 yet at that time, yet alone grab it, so it was also a major statement of my name getting out there to the masses and letting them know I was going to be here for a while.

What lessons has wakeboarding taught you?

Wakeboarding has thought me a lot of lessons on life that I had gained through traveling.  I got to get a major glimpse of what life was really like outside of America.  There was a lot I had learned from traveling that I never would have learned in the classroom.  But then at the same time, wakeboarding provided me the opportunities to travel and also see everything I learned about in the classroom in real life.

What does it mean to ride for LF?

I have always carried a lot of pride with me to be a part of the LF family and ride for them.  The people that work for the brand both on and off the water have so much love and compassion for what they do and who they do it for and to be a part of that is something to be proud of.

Who or what inspires you?

I get my inspiration mostly from my family.  There is something from each family member I have that pushes me to want to be more like them.  They all carry great traits, so they all inspire me in different ways.  Now as far as on the water goes, Guenther Oka, Raph Derome and Daniel Grant, do I really need to say why?  If you don’t know why, search their names in YouTube, you won’t be disappointed.

What do you think you are doing too much of or too little of because of wakeboarding?

Right now, I would say I am riding a bit too much cable.  Unfortunately, the lakes in my area are all being dewatered due to danger of each dam breaking.  But we should be back to normal in a few years.  Sob story over, look for me as the future PWT champ in 2023!
