IWWF Winning

Whatitdo LF’ers!

Last week of October which includes a personal favorite holiday, Halloween.  I think I set the tone for Halloween with my last recap because its scary how often our athletes were on the podium this season.  And what even scarier is that statistic went up over the weekend.  That’s right, the IWWF Wakeboard World Championships went down in China and of course you know our crew showed up and slayed!

First up, its our girl Euge de Armas with a new world title!  That’s right, Euge is now the IWWF Wakeboard World Champion!  This girl has been on a tear because it was just a little over a week ago she was riding in PanAm’s and she won that also!  I cannot think of any better way to cap off your season with 2 massive wins and of course the title of world champ. Congrats Euge!

The medals in Pro Women didn’t stop at Euge, our Italian Alice Virag was able to secure a bronze at worlds too!  2 out of 3 spots!  And to add to it, in a final of 6 ladies, 4 of the finalists were LF team athletes!  Congrats ladies!

Now onto Jr. Mens.  If you have been reading these from me you know how hyped I have been on the one who is now Jr. Men’s world Champ, Federico (Nano) Dal Lago!  Kid has been on one this year and is insanely fun to watch ride.  So no surprise he is now the Jr. Men’s world champ!  And right next to him is his Italian teammate Mattia Del Fiandra!  Got a Unity Aero and a Remedy Aero in these boys hands with a gold and silver.  Congrats boys!

The Unity Aero continued to see itself on the podium as our boy Sam Brown got himself vice world champ title with a silver medal.  Atta boy Sam!  So stoked that we were able to have LF representation on all the major podiums!  Congrats Sam and everyone else at worlds!

Til the next episode!
