Howdy LF’ers!
Successful summer I’d say for our team! And let me also make this Monday and LFG Monday too! This one pertains strictly to the ladies of LF.
WWA Wakeboard and Wakesurf Nationals – Monroe Washington. LFG was definitely the acronym to be used this past weekend. Our ladies absolutely slayed it and of course took home some eagles! Zahra Kell had a wild last week and a half recently recovering from a concussion all the way to taking the title of Pro Women’s Nationals Champion! Zahra laid down an epic run to earn herself her second gold of the season. And of course right next to her, Main Event Meagan Ethell with a silver! LFG Ladies of LF, congrats!
And WWA Wakesurf Nationals coincided at the same time and our girl who is always on the podium Bailey Dunn with the bronze in Pro Women’s skim. So stoked for Bailey as I believe she has been on the podium at every single event this season, just like Zahra and Meagan! Congrats again Bailey!
I would like to point out a few of our up and comer’s that podiumed at Nationals. First being Michael Parham in Jr. Boys Beginner with a gold and bragging rights! You all might already be familiar with Michael as we did a what pulls you with him on our socials. Michael is riding the Fury and is ripping! I’ve been in this game for a long time and I can definitely tell you Michael has got an all time wakeboard career in the coming pages in his book. Congrats Michael!
Next up in Jr. Pro Men is Federico Dal Lago. The Italian laced himself a W with a run that easily could of made finals and possibly a podium in Pro Men’s. Federico is literally the best rider in the world for his age right now. All’s I can say is expect big things from him, kid is on one right now. Congrats Federico!
Women’s (30-39) Kylee Hassett scored herself a big eagle and the bragging rights with her gold! Might be the last time she goes by Kylee Hassett as she is soon to be Kylee Lowe, fiancé of another longtime team rider Chad Lowe. Congratulations to Kylee on the gold and also on the engagement with one of the goats, Chad!
