Is it really already August? Damn this season is going fast. You know the old saying “life moves fast when you are having fun”, well that 1000000% is our team right now. Seriously is this becoming the most all around dominate year ever for LF? Let’s tap in and see why after this past weekend.
Let’s kick things off with Munich Mash. Gavin Stuckey, our rookie to the team, but never a rookie to the podium, mashed out a gold this past weekend at the event which drew record crowds. That’s right Gavin has been on fire by securing the bag with an insane stalelfish zero, both footed nose presses and the best hit on the pipes all weekend. And what makes this win even more rad, is Frontline’s own Rudy Tallboy’s was right next to him with a bronze metal. Props boys!
The females of LF did their thing too, which is a regular thing of dominating the podium. Our superstar’s Rivers Hedrick got the gold and Holiday herself Claudia Pagnini with the silver right next to her. Rivers had the sickest grabbed crow mobe off the step up kicker with of course the best of rail hits to separate herself from the pack. Well done girls, so stoked!
Simultaneously Red Bull CopenWaken went down in none other than Copenhagen Denmark. Queen of wake Meagan Ethell decided she was going to be queen of the cable by riding in this event and of course our girl was in the super final and finished up with a silver! This event looked insane as crowds were stacked deep on both sides of the canal in downtown Copenhagen with a wild kicker to wall that go you up and close with the crowds. Meagan on a podium streak with everything she does this year, congrats Meags!
Felix Georgii dropping the heaviest winch part of the year with some of the other boys in a Red Bull feature titled FOAMA. I might be in German, but the video is unreal! Seriously Felix definitely has my vote to have a few hits submitted for trick of the year in this part. I don’t want to be a spoiler, but people don’t oftern do actual nose presses on concrete on winch spots, so you will see a bit of that. But the closer spot in insane and what Felix does on it.
