The land of Pizza, Pasta, Wine and some high-quality cable parks was the latest LF Ride With The Pros destination. Although Italy was our host nation, this RTWPs was a fully international affair with riders from across the globe coming together for some doubles, demos and good times. Gavin Stuckey (US), Busty Dunn (Australia), Konni Lehndorff (Germany) and local lad Steven Bossini all put on a show across 3 cable parks in 3 days to stoke out the locals and let everyone know LF is in town!
After landing in Milan, day 1 was spent at Liquid Park Milano, a great system-two park just outside the city. The LF crew used the glassy and blue-sky conditions to stack some clips and put on a show for everyone enjoying the perfect weather. The hospitality from Liquid Park Milano was spot-on and we all appreciate them for putting on a big spread for lunch and keeping the EstaThè Pescas flowing after a long day of travel. Admittedly some travelled longer than others, for Busty, Konni and me this was a simple couple flight from elsewhere in Europe whereas for Gavin this was a mammoth overnighter from the States that didn’t seem to allow for much sleep. How someone can ride to the highest level on just 2 hours of sleep still surprises me! Gavin is a champ, and a well-deserved siesta was had.
Days 2 and 3 were spent between Wake Paradise Brescia and Wake Paradise Milano who brought in the crowds to try out some of the latest LF gear and ride with their favourite LF Pros. A couple of key shouts need to be made to two rippers Tommy and Matteo who had travelled over to Wake Paradise to ride doubles and learn from the best. We have two future stars of the sport in Tommy and Matteo as neither of them were shy of throwing it down and locking in new tricks all with the guidance of the LF pros. This is what Ride With The Pros is all about!
The locals at WakeParadise Brescia and Milano were all stoked to try out some of the latest 2024 models and put them to the test. I think it is safe to say we have some LF converts over in Italy who were amped to lock in a line they have been trying on an LF setup. What can I say… our boards make it happen!
A massive shout-out must be made to Liquid Force Italia, our Italian distributors who showed us their beautiful country in the best way possible via the food, the beer and the cable parks!
