Spring has sprung and so has the legs of many wakers! We are back on the water here in North America and the start of sheading neoprene is either already happening, or is starting soon. That’s right, warm weather is happening!
Rather than highlighting our global and frontline team athletes, I want to take this week’s update and highlight some up and comers. So let’s dive in.
The first stop of Thigh High Series kicked off in Groveland Fl and of course LF had several podiums. First up is Bosun Lindsey winning the boys division riding the RDX future series. Bosun is ripping right now on the park and what’s even more rad is that last year at our 2025 product shoot on Lake Lanier, Bosun took his first boat set with Luca Kidd and 9 months later he is winning his division behind the boat. This kid is what wakeboarding is all about, big fans of Bosun here! Congrats Bosun!
The juniors division also featured some LF’ers on the podium. Spencer Trice from Oklahoma secured gold on his Unity Aero in a heavy final. And right next to him in 3rd was Ezra Oneal from North Carolina riding a Bullox Aero LTD. So stoked to see the future of wake is on one right now and congrats to the boys for tearing it up and representing!
What was awesome though about the Thigh High Series is that we had our hard working athletes on the frontline judging the contest. Daniel Johnson and Stefano Comollo were on site hanging with all the grassroots athletes and spreading the stoke while getting to critique some wakeboarding. Word has it, you will see these boys lots this season, both at the big events and more of the grassroots ones too. Cheers DJ and Stef for repping!
Lastly, I have to highlight this one. First because it is massive, and 2nd its because I am a big pete rose guy so I gotta give a shoutout and respect to this one because it got me hyped! One of the faces of the future series, Cruze Boi put down a Pete Rose 7! Seriously this is a big deal. And to give you a reference on how big of a deal it is, it was a one of the highlight tricks from the winning pro men’s run from LAO this past year! Yea Cruze, keep the progression going!
Til the next episode,
